Cat Island Nature Tours, based in Bennett's Harbour, Cat Island, Bahamas, is the newest Eco-tour operator on Cat Island. We operate kayaking, snorkeling, hiking, and bird watching tours.  

Most of our guides are natives of the Bahamas and the Cat Island area and take pleasure in acquainting visitors with land and sea  flora, fauna, as well as history and culture of the islands.
Cat Island is known for its rich history in this region.  All tours involve light to moderate activity and are fully lead by friendly, highly trained, professional guides.

The cultural & historical heritage and untouched natural beauty of Cat make it an ideal vacation destination for eco-travelers. The island is located just 35 minutes by air from Nassau, New Providence. There are two to four flights arriving daily to it's two airports. The island is home to a  variety of several boutique hotels, resorts, shops and local restaurants for visitors to enjoy. Cat Island once known as Guanahani and San Salvador. It is considered by some historians to have been the first landfall of Christopher Columbus during the rediscovery of the new world. Before that time the peaceful Arawak/Lucayan indians called Cat home, living in it's many caves and fishing and growing crops for food. Later Cat became home to Loyalist plantation owners, religious missionaries as well as many freed slaves. Evidence of these historical inhabitants can be found throughout the island and we want to share it with you. 

There are breathtaking beaches, caves, ruins, ancient camp sites, coral reefs and much more which remains unspoiled by modernization. This is a haven to explore. The seas around Cat Island abound with fish, crawfish, sea turtles, reefs and offer so much.
